Administrative Services The Administrative Services is comprised of two separate functions: Finance and Human Resources.
City Manager's Office The City Manager's Office is comprised of five separate functions: Administration, City Clerk, Community Relations, Information Technology (I.T.), and Risk Management.
Community Development The Department of Community Development is comprised of five separte functions: Building, Engineering, Housing & Community Investment, Planning, and Redevelopment.
Fire Administration The Fire Department is comprised of four separte units: Emergency Services, Fire Prevention, Hazardous Materials and Administration.
Parks & Recreation The Department of Parks & Recreation consists of three separate functions: a parks division, recreation division and our Tree Program. The Parks Department provides recreation and leisure opportunities with its park facilities and recreation programming. These programs are designed to help local residents improve their overall health and quality of life.
Police Department The West Sacramento Police Department is responsible for enforcing the laws of the State of California and providing a wide variety of public services to the community.  The Code Enforcement Division falls under the responsibility of the Police Department.

Public Works

 The Public Works Department is responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance, and management of the City's infrastructure and facilites. The department is made up of four divisions: Administration, Engineering, Operations, and Port of West Sacramento.  Public Works also includes the areas of Flood Protection, Traffic & Transportation, and Environmental Programs.
