• Inclusionary Housing Policies 

The City of West Sacramento has implemented an inclusionary housing program to increase the amount of affordable housing in the City and to promote the development of mixed-income communities.

• Housing Element

The City’s current Housing Element was adopted by the City Council on October 8, 2008.  The housing element is one of the seven mandated elements of the local government’s general plan.

• Homeless Strategy

The City of West Sacramento is a member of the Yolo County Homeless Coalition. The Coalition facilitates grant writing and coordinates referrals between non-profit and governmental homeless services providers on a county basis. A City of West Sacramento Homeless Strategy is under development as a part of a county-wide effort to reduce the incidence of homelessness.
