Spring 2010 registration opens on February 12th!! The league runs from March 29th - June 11th Six teams per division on a first come basis. The first 8 teams from each league (Men's & Coed)to register will get a free entry into the pre season tournament. The tournament will be held on Mar 23rd & Mar 25th. Cost: Registration is $400.00 per team. (plus $5.00 per team if non-resident). Registration deadline is March 22nd, 2010. Thursday Coed C & D Divisions Friday Coed D & E Divisions. C is most competitive league, D is competitive and E is recreational. There are no homeruns allowed in the E division. Included: Each team is guaranteed 10 games. One umpire and one scorekeeper per game. Mandatory Managers Meeting: March 24th, 2010 at 7pm. Location: West Sacramento Recreation Center Specifics: Batter enters the box with a one strike and one ball count. Balls will be provided. Coed league may use an 11 inch ball for a women batter. Coed Soccer for Adults
Registration for the Spring 2010 league will start accepting sign-ups on January 1st. League play will take place Sunday, April 19th through Sunday, June 28th. All games are played at Bryte Park between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Cost: Registration is $550 per team. Last day to register is March 20th. Adult Soccer Roster/Waiver Who: Men and Women 18 years of age and up. Included: Eight (8) games. Two referees and one staff per game. Players must wear similar colored jerseys and each player will need a different number on the back. All players must check in with an ID before each game.

Want to play some basketball during your weekday lunch break? We've got a fun way to play and get some exercise!
Cost: A one-time $25 jersey purchase is required, but that's it for Rec Center pass holders who will never pay an additional fee. Once you've purchased the jersey, Rec Center pass holders get to play every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm. Even daily pass holders can play as long as they've purchased the LBL (Lunch Basketball League) jersey. Want to play but don't want to purchase a Rec Center pass? Then you have the option of purchasing a 3-month LBL pass for $40 (plus $5.00 if a non-resident). The first time you sign-up you get the reversible jersey, too.
Who: For men and women, ages 18 and up.
Included: Tuesday, Wedneday and Thursday from 11:45am-1:30pm at the West Sacramento Recreation Center, 2801 Jefferson Blvd. (we anticipate being able to play every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, however there may be cancelations. We hope to be able to notify you with as much notice as possible). Also included is a one-time mircro-mesh reversible basketball jeresy. The front of the jersey has the West Sacramento Basketball logo and the back is numbered. 
Adult 5 on 5 Basketball
Registration for the Winter season is now open. We offer three divisions, A - Competitive, B - Semi-Competitive and C - Recreation. League play is on Sundays. Game times depend on division your team plays in: C - 10am-1pm, B - 2pm - 5pm, A - 5pm - 9pm.
League Dates: Season starts February 14th and goes until April 18th.

Come Join us in our Women's Volleyball & Basketball League at West Sacramento’s New Recreation Center. We offer volleyball on Thursday nights and basketball on Sunday. If you would like to put a team together or join a team as a free agent, please contact us.

Holiday Tennis Clinic 2009
Tennis in December? You bet! If it's not raining, you should be on the courts. Join River City High coach Dave Brooks for nine (9) hours of instruction, drills, and organized match play. Participants will be grouped by skill level, from beginning to advanced. Bring your racquet or borrow one of ours!

BEGINNING BALLROOM LESSONS This class is an introductory course that is designed to teach the fundamentals of Social Ballroom Dancing. Basic patterns and techniques of Ballroom dancing will be taught within the context of the following dances; Foxtrot, Tango, Waltz, Rumba, Cha Cha and East Coast Swing. Three of these dances will be taught per month and will rotate monthly. No partner necessary.

This class is designed for beginning salsa dancers that are looking to learn a dance that is popular and a great way to stay or get healthy. These lessons will begin with the basics of Salsa: the steps, the turns, the rhythm, and the music. From there, students will continue to develop styling as they learn new and exciting patterns. No partner necessary.

Ongoing classes from white belt to black belt, no equipment necessary. | | HUNTER SAFETY Take a California Hunter’s Safety class locally before you plan on going hunting. Co-sponsored by the City of West Sacramento Parks and Recreation and the State of California, this class is required of all first time resident hunters regardless of age before purchasing a hunting license. Bring a lunch! A license is not issued at this class. Contact Parks & Recreation at 617-4620 for specific dates and times. Ages: 9 + Location: Sam Combs Family Center (205 Stone Blvd.) Days: 3rd Saturday (9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and Sunday (9-3 pm) of the month. No classes held in April or May. | ADULT SWIM FITNESS GROUP
The Adult Swim Fitness group is offered for individuals 18+. In this group, you will work with a swim coach that will provide workouts through the week, provide instruction and stroke technique. All levels are welcome. The cost of this group is $50.00 per month. Workouts are tentatively scheduled for: Monday - Friday, 6:00 to 7:00 am, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and 5:45 to 6:45 pm.
