City Clerk

The City Clerk is responsible for the preparation and coordination of agendas and minutes of the City Council and Redevelopment Agency meetings; legislative action organization/administration; the posting and/or publishing of all notices; municipal code revisions; the coordination of appointments to City boards and commissions; and ensuring that statements of economic interest are filed by Council Members, Planning commissioners, members of the Board of appeals, the Multi-County Disaster Recovery JPA and River City Stadium Financing Authority JPA, and designated City employees and consultants. The City Clerk also serves as the Elections Officer for all regular and special elections in the city. In addition, the City Clerk serves as custodian of the official City seal; records; citywide records management program, and archives for the City. The City Clerk is the appointed secretary for the Redevelopment Agency and River City Stadium Financing Authority (RCSFA), and is also the Clerk to the Sacramento-Yolo Port District Commission.
