Recreation Center Pass Prices

The Recreation Center Passes will be sold beginning Wednesday, January 7th, at City Hall, 1110 West Capitol Ave.   Rec Cards will be issued starting on Monday, January 26th at the Recreation Center. 

Daily Pass:

Recreation Card holders purchasing a daily pass will have drop-in access to the Recreation Center, including admission to Group Exercise Classes.

Discount Passes :

The following savings are applied when purchasing multi-month passes at the monthly rate.

  • 3-months = 5% discount
  • 6-months = 10% discount
  • 12-months = 15% discount

Want a Rec Center Pass?

West Sacramento Recreation Pass Sales will begin on Wednesday, January 7th at the Parks & Recreation Department  (1110 West Capitol Ave).  We expect more traffic than usual and want to make things run smoothly, please read the details below.  

Please see the list below for a preview of what will be required at the time of pass sale:

  • Fill out a liability waiver in advance (see waiver here – print and fill out in advance and bring with you)
    • All persons 18 and over must sign their own waiver (sign at bottom and initial on line #13)
    • A parent or guardian can place their children (under 18) on one waiver
    • Family members will only be attached to your family pass when we have a signed waiver    
    • Waivers will be available on site as well
  • Provide proof of residency (such as a utility bill)
  • All individuals will need to have their picture taken for their Rec Card (ages 8 and up).
    • The more family you can bring with you at the time of the pass sale, the better. 
    • Family members not able to be present can have their picture taken at a later date.
  • Rec Cards will be available for pick-up at the Recreation Center on or after Monday, January 26th.  
    • Rec Cards fees will be waived until the end of January.
     

Family Pass = Two adult care givers, one as the main account holder, that have dependents of children and/or elderly people that reside in the same house. Two families living in the same household are separate. 

 Recreation Center pass sales will be available from January 7th-January 23rd at the Parks & Recreation Department located at 1110 West Capitol Ave. Beginning on January 26th, pass sales will also be available at the Recreation Center located at 2801 Jefferson Blvd.

The West Sacramento Parks & Recreation Department is seeking instructors in the following areas:

  • Personal Trainers
  • Group Exercise Instructors
  • Masters Swim Coach
  • Skate Park Instructor
  • Tennis Instructor
All applicants must submit a course proposal, resume, and a copy of required certifications. Demonstrations may be required.  If you have any questions, please contact (916) 617-4620.
 

Recreation Card FAQ's

  • Can you use your account online without having a Rec Card? - YES!
  • To get a Rec Card, do I need to go to the Parks & Recreation office to have my picture taken and provide proof of residency (such as a utility bill)? - YES!
  • Can I get a Rec Card for me and my family for free until the end of January 2009? - YES!
  • Can I load a pass on a Rec Card in January 2009 for access to the Recreation Center? - YES!
  • Once I have purchased a pass, will I need a Rec Card to enter the Recreation Center? - YES!
  • If my children want to use the Recreation Center, will they need a Rec Card? - YES!
  • Will I receive my Rec Card before the Recreation Center opens in January? - YES!
