DESCRIPTION
The Youth Commission shall be comprised of individuals between eleven and nineteen years of age at the time of appointment.  The general goal of the commission is to further an understanding by youth of local government.  The commission shall provide advice and recommendations to the city council and staff on matters within the commission's scope and duties that have been referred to the commission by the city council, redevelopment agency or city manager.
