The do and don'ts in the disposal of garbage  

You may dispose of small amounts of the items listed below with household garbage.

  • Nail Polish - if completely dried
  • Paints - if completely dried
  • Shoe Polish - if completely dried
  • Aerosol - if completely empty
 
The following items CANNOT be discarded with household garbage. However, they do NOT need to be brought to a Hazardous Household Waste collection facility. Small amounts of these products may be poured down the drain with lots of water. The empty container may then be thrown in the trash after rinsing three times.
