The Refuse and Recycling Division provides household battery collection at several locations throughout the city. You can drop off alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable batteries at one of the following locations:

Hollywood Hardware - 1551 Merkley Ave.

Nugget Market - 2000 Town Center Plaza

Raley's (camera department) - 1601 W Capitol Ave.

Sacramento Battery Co. – 3616 W Capitol Ave.

The Senior Center - 664 Cummins Way

The Police Department - 550 Jefferson Blvd.
