Fire Administration
This Division is staffed with the Fire Chief, 2 Division Chiefs, Office Manager and Senior Clerk. In addition to emergency scene management and daily supervision of fire suppression units, Division Chiefs oversee and manage all of the departments daily operations. Personnel, training, buildings and grounds, purchasing, fiscal management, administrative support, clerical support, records management, research, and data collection are provided to the Fire Department by the Administration Division. The Administrative offices for the Fire Department are located at 2040 Lake Washington Blvd. The office is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Phone: (916) 617-4600. FAX: (916) 371-5017.

Obtaining a Report
Reports of fire incidents are available to the public by request. Incidents involving medical aid may only be obtained by the patient, a legal representative of the patient with a signed patient release, or by subpoena of the court. There is a $10.00 fee per report. Please notify the Fire Department in advance if you wish to obtain a copy. Fire Department incident reports may not be duplicated under any circumstances.

Permits and Fees - In order to view the fees you will need to have Adobe Acrobat loaded on your computer. Permits for new businesses must be picked up at the Fire Administration office at the address listed above.
 

Knox Box Applications
Knox Boxes are required by the Fire Department in buildings with automatic sprinkler systems or where access is limited. The property owner is responsible for obtaining and maintaining the Knox Boxes. Applications may be acquired online at www.knoxbox.com or at Station 45 which is located at 2040 Lake Washington Blvd..
