Motel Inspection Program

HCI has been tasked with implementation of the Hotel Operating Standards Ordinance, which was adopted by the City Council in October, 2005. An inspection team consisting of staff from HCI, Building, and Code Enforcement is currently conducting inspections of all motels in West Sacramento. The goal of the inspection program is to bring all motels in the city up to a level of quality that is consistent with a budget motel appealing to and patronized by a broad segment of the traveling public.
