| Description: |
This park is host to the West
Sacramento Soccer Club and Parks & Community Service's Adult
Softball program. Maintained by Parks and Recreation,
it is one one of the best playing facilities in the greater
Sacramento area for these two sports. It is also a site for
the K.I.D.S. (Kids Involved During Summer) summer day-camp program.
This facility was developed by the City of West Sacramento and
is the result of a successful partnership with the Washington
Unified School District. The park is located on the property
adjacent to Golden State Middle School. Both the Club West Teen
Center and the Golden State Pool are adjacent to the park as
well. |
| Functions: | This multi-use sports facility has eight soccer fields, three baseball fields, two lighted softball fields, a basketball court, running track, picnic area and a children's play equipment/area.
