The Sewer and Water Divisions are responsible for the maintenance, integrity, and repair of sanitary sewer mains, water transmission mains, water services, and sewer laterals. Daily routines involve fixing water leaks, clearing blocked sewer lines, cleaning sewer mains, meter reading and repair, hydrant flushing and pressure testing.

• Sewer Collection performs flushing, cleaning of sewer mains, and clears blocked sewer laterals and mains. Sewer division operates and maintains 11 sewer pump stations located throughout the city.

• Water Distribution maintains and operates all transmission and distribution mains throughout the water piping network. Water Distribution also maintains all service lines, hydrants and valves.
