COVID update ASES KidZone and Club West After School

KidZone/Club West is a partnership between Washington Unified School District (WUSD) and the City to provide quality, enriching, after-school services to the youth of West Sacramento funded under Proposition 49. The After School Education & Safety (ASES) Grant provides funds for KidZone & Club West which operates throughout the school-year providing academic, enrichment, and recreation activities which include provision of a daily supper and snack, disguised learning activities, physical activity, and arts & crafts. In partnership with the WUSD, your child will enjoy a safe and positive environment where they can laugh, sing, play and make new friends! Please contact (916) 617-4620 for more information.

 Club West for Teens

Club West offers a variety of teen programs throughout the year. In addition to the After School Programs they offer Summer Teen Camp, Teen Heroes, and Teen Dances. For more information please visit

Youth and Teen Summer Camps

The city offers full day and half days camps throughout the summer.

Kids Night Out

Kids are invited to have a great time making crafts, playing games, watch a movie and enjoy a kid friendly dinner! Parents get a worry free night out!

Adaptive Recreation

The Adaptive Recreation program (or SPARK as it is called by its participants) is designed to provide West Sacramento residents, 14 or older, with special needs the opportunity to participate in recreation and leisure activities designed for their needs and interests.

Youth and Teen Sports

The city offers a variety of sport opportunities such as; Jr. Giants, Jr. NBA/WNBA, NFL Flag Football, Just 4 Kicks, Teen Hoops, Youth Tennis and Learn to Skate.
