Recreation Swim

All guests under 18 must have a parent/guardian make an online reservation in advance. This allows families to complete the required waiver and payment before arriving at the pool.

Residents can create their household account at rec.us/west-sacramento

Swimmers must pass the 25-yard swim test to swim in deep water and use the diving boards. Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are permitted. A limited number of life jackets are available for checkout.

Monthly Recreation Center passholders should verify that everyone on their household account has an updated annual waiver on file before visiting. Once waivers are up to date, passholders may use quick check-in at the side gate for entry.

What We Do

West Sacramento Parks & Recreation consists of four separate functions: a Parks Division, Recreation Division, Early Learning Services, and our Tree Program. The Parks Department provides recreation and leisure opportunities with its park facilities and recreation programming. These programs are designed to help local residents improve their overall health and quality of life.
