Free Bike Safety Lessons in West Sacramento

Are you interested in driving less and riding more and want to know how to get started? Do you already ride a bike but have questions about laws, types of bikeways and how to ride safer? Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA) is presenting two free, 1-hour classes for current and interested bicyclists of all ages. Students will receive a promo code good for 1 hour of JUMP Bike use ($4 value)!

You'll learn the basics of riding a bike for everyday trips:

  • Bicycling and the law
  • Bikeways and traveling the street
  • Intersections
  • Avoiding crashes

Class Schedule

  • Saturday, Nov. 10, 11 a.m. to noon - West Sacramento Recreation Center, 2801 Jefferson Blvd.
  • Saturday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m. to noon - West Sacramento City Hall Galleria, 1110 W Capitol Ave.

Please register for this FREE class!

Come prepared to ask questions and share your experiences. No bike is needed - this class will provide classroom instruction only. Attendance for each class is limited to 25 students.
