Special Shopping Hours for Seniors

Here are some West Sacramento stores that are offering special hours and accommodations for older adults during the COVID-19 pandemic. More stores will be added to this list as they become available. 

Raley’s: Store workers will assemble “Senior Essentials” bags with a combination of dry goods and fresh goods for either $20 or $35. Those bags are available for curbside or in-store pickup. Please call (916) 372-3000 if you have questions. 

Nugget: The temporary seniors-only hours will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 a.m., or 7 to 8 a.m., depending on the location. Please call  (916) 375-8700 if you have questions.

Walmart: The first hour of business each Tuesday is reserved for vulnerable populations starting Tuesday, March 24. Please call (916) 373-2200 if you have questions.

Target: The first hour of business each Wednesday is reserved for seniors starting Wednesday, March 25. Please call (916) 384-0977 if you have questions.

Walgreens: Starting Tuesday, March 24 and every Tuesday for the near future, Walgreens stores will open at 8 a.m., with the full hour from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. dedicated to senior citizens.  This hour is also available to their caregivers and immediate families may also visit the store during this time.
