On March 18, 2020, the West Sacramento City Council adopted an ordinance establishing a temporary moratorium on evicting residential and commercial tenants who suffer substantial wage or business losses due to the implementation of measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This ordinance is an emergency measure that is in effect immediately through at least May 31st.
The City has created a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and a Form tenants can give to their landlord/property manager should they be unable to pay rent.
