Free Bike Safety Lessons in West Sacramento

 Are you interested in driving less and riding more and want to know how to get started? Do you already ride a bike but have questions about laws, types of bikeways and how to ride more safely?

SABA and the City of West Sacramento Police Department are partnering on this free, interactive class for current and interested bicyclists of all ages. You'll learn the basics of riding a bike for everyday trips:

- Bicycling and the law
- Bikeways and traveling the street
- Intersections
- Avoiding crashes
- Enjoying the ride

Come prepared to ask questions and share your experiences. No bike is needed -- this class will provide classroom instruction only. Attendance for each class is limited to 25 students.

Classes will be held at locations throughout West Sacramento:
