The Age-Friendly Advisory Committee is an ad-hoc committee co-chaired by Mayor Pro Tem Sandeen and Councilmember Mark Johannessen, with members nominated from each of the City’s appointed advisory commissions.

The Age-Friendly Advisory Committee will help guide the development of a self-assessment and Age-Friendly Action Plan to support the City’s membership in the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, a partnership dedicated to supporting the dignity, independence and quality of life of older city residents and the entire community.

Meeting dates for this committee to be determined. All meetings are broadcast live on WAVE Cable channel 20 and AT&T channel 99; and replayed the following Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 AM. The committee is staffed by the City Manager's Office(617-4500).
