The Bridge District Specific Plan, formerly the Triangle Plan, was adopted in 1993 and significantly updated in 2009. The intent of the Bridge District Specific Plan is to provide a framework for the development of a well planned, waterfront orientated urban district for the City of West Sacramento. The transition from the industrial past to the vision of an urban mixed-use district is well under way. Notable projects that have recently been constructed, are under construction, or are under review are noted below. 

 Delta Lane Multifamily

KTGY Architects has submitted an application for Design Review for a 256-unit market rate multi-family housing project.  The project would be located east of Grand Street, west of 5th Street, south of Delta Lane, and north of the proposed Casey Street.

Fulcrum Phase Two Multifamily

Smart Growth Investors received design review approval on April 22, 2016 for their phase two apartments located at 980 and 974 Central Street. The project is currently under construction.
