Sun M is proposing the revision of a previously approved development in Southport which would consist of up to 2,732 residential units and a 10 acre K-8 school along with several parks. The proposed project requires approval of a General Plan amendment, Specific Plan, Amendment of the Southport Framework Plan, rezoning, Conditional Use Permit, and a vesting master tentative map. This project is located in the Northwest Village of the Southport Framework Plan area and includes approximately 373.5 acres. It is bounded on the east/south by the Sacramento River levee system, on the north by Davis Road, and on the west by the Clarksburg Branch Line Trail. The project is currently undergoing staff review.
