Grossology slime. Guts. Goo. And more! Campers dive hands-first into the wonderfully weird world of gross science — from sticky experiments to creepy critters and all things icky. It's messy, it's hands-on, and it's hilariously fun. Not for the squeamish!
July 20 - July 24 • 1pm - 4pm | Flight Academy
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a week of high-flying science — from the first flying machines to the edge of space. Campers explore aerodynamics by building airplanes, testing them in wind tunnels, and creating balloon copters. They’ll uncover the science of flight, experiment with celestial navigation, and build a rocket to take home. From sky science to space discovery, this camp is pure lift-off!
July 27 - July 31• 9am - 12pm | Radical Robots
Campers dive into the world of robotics—no coding required! Using real circuits, gears, and hands-on tools, they’ll explore how robots move, think, and work in the real world. The best part is that every camper builds and takes home their own working robot by the end of the week. It’s STEM learning powered by creativity, curiosity, and a whole lot of fun!
July 27 - July 31 • 1pm - 4pm | Crazy Chemworks
Campers dive into hands-on experiments with real reactions, wild concoctions, and mind-blowing discoveries. From battling evaporation and decoding counterfeit bills to exploring the secret power of glue, every day is packed with curiosity-fueled fun.
*Registration open on Thursday, March 19th at 8:30am (Resident) 12pm (Non - Resident)
Dance
Intro to Ballet
This introductory recreational ballet class opens the world of dance to children who want to explore the grace and movement of ballet. students will practice skills and learn choreographed dance routines. Performance opportunities available.
Ages: 5 - 8
Days: Tuesdays
Time: 5:30pm - 6:15pm
Location: Community Center - 1075 West Capitol Ave.
Fee: $40 per month (4 classes / month)
Hip Hop Dance
Introduction to the art and style of hip hop dance. Participants will learn and develop coordination and rhythm while learning progressive choreography. Class is fast paced with energetic movements. Performance opportunities available.
Ages: Ballet 8 -18
Days: Tuesdays
Time: 6:20pm - 7:05pm
Location: Community Center - 1075 West Capitol Ave.
Fee: $40 per month (4 classes / month)
Intro to Guitar
Both Adult and Youth Classes offered.
Both Youth and Adult lessons cover the very basics of music theory and how it applies to the guitar, proper technique and songwriting. Proper practice will also be covered and musicians can expect weekly assignments personally designed to develop each student with skills they desire.
Ages: Youth 8 - 18 Adult 18 +
Days: Wednesdays
Time: Youth 5:00pm - 5:45pm Adult 6:00pm - 6:45pm
Location: Community Center - 1075 West Capitol Ave.
Fee: $90 per month (4 classes / month)
