Holiday Hours & Closures

How to reserve a Day Pass or book an activity online? 
Please visit our registration site to create an account and reserve your activity such as Group Exercise or Kinesis.

Please be sure to cancel your booking if you are unable to attend.

If you have made a reservation for group exercise there is a 10 minute grace period for arriving. If you have not arrived by 10 minutes after the beginning of the timeslot, we may give away your slot to someone waiting. 

*Proof of residency such as a driver’s license or utility bill is required to receive a resident discount when purchasing a day pass or renewing a pass.

Pool Party reservations Open Late March 2026!

Interested in hosting a party away from home? The Recreation Center offers Rockwall parties year-round and pool parties during the summer.

• All Recreation Center rentals require a $250 refundable deposit

Rec Swim

• Resident Fee: $325
• Non-Resident Fee: $390
• Available Times: June-August, Saturday & Sunday, 12:30pm-2:30pm & 3:00pm-5:00pm
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Includes Party Room, Shipwreck Cover, OR Tiki Corner
  • Covers up to 20 guests

Rockwall

• Resident Fee: $325
• Non-Resident Fee: $390
• Available Times:
  • Friday: 5–8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 1–7 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Includes Party Room and up to 15 climbers

Party Room Only

• Resident Fee: $50/hr
• Non-Resident Fee: $60/hr
• Available Times: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
• Notes & Capacity:
  • Maximum capacity of 25 people
  • Requires additional time for set-up and clean-up

Lap Swim
Anyone 13 and older may lap swim. All lap swim lanes are considered shared lanes. You may be asked by a swimmer to share your lane. Read 'Lap Swimming Etiquette' to know what to expect.

Please see our Lap Swim Page for specific days and times. Reservations are no longer needed.

September Calendar

Why are there limited lap swim and pool hours?
Per the City’s Joint Use Agreement with Washington Unified School District for use of the Recreation Center, lap swim hours are adjusted throughout the year to accommodate River City High School athletics.

Tennis Courts

The tennis courts are officially open! Please check the tennis schedule for specific dates and times.

Pickleball open gym is available on Monday and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings inside the basketball gym. Please check the gym calendar for specific dates and times.

Please bring your own paddle if you have one. Paddles may also be available to borrow from the front desk.

Pickleball Clinics

Pickleball clinic dates are currently to be determined. If you are interested in attending a future clinic, please email Chris Froshaug at chrisf@cityofwestsacramento.org

Who can use the gym?

Any individual ages 8 and up can use the gym. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please check the calendar or call before you stop by to use the gym. There may be other activities in the gym at the time you plan to attend. 

How much does it cost?

A day pass or monthly pass gives access to the facility. Please check in at the front desk with your Rec Card. 

Will equipment be provided? 

At this time, please bring your own equipment. 

Who can sign up for Cardio/Strength? 
Anyone 13 or older may use the cardio/strength equipment.

What cardio equipment is available? 

Our indoor cardio/strength is available anytime the Recreation Center is open for drop in use. All participants are asked to respect others space and clean any equipment used during your visit.

Who can sign up for Group Exercise? 
Anyone 13 or older may reserve a Group Exercise reservation. 

Will equipment be provided? 
Yes. For Yoga classes, please bring your own mat.
