ASES KidZone and Club West After School

KidZone and Club West operates at the following five schools: Elkhorn Village Elementary, Riverbank Elementary, Stonegate Elementary, Westfield Village Elementary, and Westmore Oaks Elementary. The KidZone and Club West after school program is funded by California’s Proposition 49: ASES Grant. The After School Education & Safety (ASES) grant provides funding for children to attend the program for free! Your child must attend his or her home school.  KidZone/Club West sites are currently full and enroll from their waitlists as spots become available.

 Club West for Teens

Club West offers a variety of teen programs throughout the year. In addition to the After School Programs they offer Summer Teen Camp, Teen Heroes, and Teen Dances. For more information please visit

Youth and Teen Summer Camps

The city offers full day and half days camps throughout the summer.

Kids Night Out

Kids are invited to have a great time making crafts, playing games, watch a movie and enjoy a kid friendly dinner! Parents get a worry free night out!

Adaptive Recreation

The Adaptive Recreation program (or SPARK as it is called by its participants) is designed to provide West Sacramento residents, 14 or older, with special needs the opportunity to participate in recreation and leisure activities designed for their needs and interests.

Youth and Teen Sports

The city offers a variety of sport opportunities such as; Jr. Giants, Jr. NBA/WNBA, NFL Flag Football, Just 4 Kicks, Teen Hoops, Youth Tennis and Learn to Skate.
