KidZone is a partnership between Washington Unified School District (WUSD) and the City to provide quality, enriching, after-school services to the youth of West Sacramento funded under Proposition 49. The After School Education & Safety (ASES) Grant provides funds for KidZone which operates throughout the school-year providing academic, enrichment, and recreation activities which include provision of a daily snack, disguised learning activities, physical activity, and arts & crafts. Due to the nature of our program positions are filled based on grade level availability and not necessarily first come-first serve, we reserve the right to handle special cases accordingly. Once you are signed up for the waiting list you will stay on the waiting list each year until your student is accepted in to the program, we will continue to maintain one waiting list per classroom each year.
Kindergartners - Incoming kindergartners may be placed on the waiting list at each school’s kinder registration event, dates- TBD by each school. We will not begin accepting wait list additions until WUSD’s kinder registration has taken place.
