Tennis Court Renovation Notice

The tennis courts will be temporarily closed from Saturday, June 6 through Monday, August 3 as the Washington Unified School District and the City of West Sacramento Recreation Center partner on a renovation project.

Planned improvements include court surface repairs and general facility upgrades designed to enhance safety and provide higher-quality playing conditions for our tennis community.

Before construction begins, the community is invited to join us on Sunday, May 17 for Demolition Doubles, a special event bringing players together to enjoy the courts one last time before renovations begin. RSVP and enjoy the court before closure.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary closure and look forward to welcoming players back to improved courts later this summer.

Youth Tennis Lessons with Coach Dave Brooks

Coach Dave Brooks is back, and youth tennis lessons are available this May at the West Sacramento Recreation Center.

These fun, beginner-friendly sessions focus on building tennis fundamentals, coordination, and confidence on the court.

Lessons will take place on Saturdays from 8:30am-9:30am on:

- August 8, 15, 22, & 29

- September 12, 19, 26 & October 3

- October 10, 17, 24, & 31

- November 7, 14, 21, & 28

The cost is $49 resident/$58.80 non-resident for all four one-hour sessions.
